Thank you for your letter F.3750/917/10 of the 23rd of June about the appointment of a British officer to General Olmsted's staff. We have no comments on the names suggested and we shall await with interest the views of the War Office.
I agree that it would be
useful to consider the wider liaison scheme put forward by the Ambassador at an Interdepartmental meeting and you will no doubt let me know when you arrange it.
